Kari Alba and her dance company Alma Flamenca have been performing and teaching in Saskatoon for 25 years. The art of flamenco comes from the beautiful south of Spain.  Flamenco combines percussion, dance, guitar, and vocals that leads to an unforgettable experience. Kari alba (artistic director and dancer), Colleen Kastning (dancer) and Victoria Beaudin (dancer) come together to showcase the art of Flamenco.

mahihkanak Dance Troupe is an award winning cultural initiative celebrating Indigenous youth and culture. Champion dancers from grades 6 to 9 at St. Frances school showcase their cultural form of expression in various powwow dance categories: traditional, grass, fancy, jingle and chicken. Accompanying the performances are story and teachings of the various dance styles and personal stories of dance troupe members.

Founded in 2023, Jazz Me Club is more than just a dance club—it's a lively and welcoming community where everyone comes together over their love for K-pop dance. This club isn’t about perfect moves; it’s about sharing fun, energy, and passion.

The Kumintang Folkdance Ensemble (KFE) is the official cultural dance group of the Filipino-Canadian Association of Saskatchewan (FILCAS). KFE performs at a number of events throughout the year, most notably at the Philippines Pavilion during the Saskatoon Folkfest. From the rural areas to the mountainous provinces, and even across the sea to Mindanao, their group performs dances from many different regions of the Philippines, showcasing their rich cultural heritage.

This project is supported by Broadway Collective.
