Susan Mills with JackPine Press

Susan Mills is a visual artist and poet who works entirely in book form. Her work includes one-of-a-kind books, small editions, chapbooks and open editions. Her books are in more than 100 international collections and she has taught bookbinding workshops throughout Canada and the US.

JackPine Press publishes limited edition chapbooks made out of unique, fine, and found materials. Our publications encourage readers to re-imagine what a book is and can be while incorporating innovative visual art. What sort of object facilitates creative writing? Past publications have been recognized by the Alcuin Awards for Excellence in Book Design and the bpNichol Chapbook Awards.

*This project is open from 7-11 PM. The rest of the festival runs 7 PM-12 AM.
